How to Write

It's film School in an hour
for free
Rob Young is an award-winning writer and former BAFTA Screenplay Judge. He has spent the past 20 years writing for the UK's biggest film, TV and theatre companies, including the BBC, Channel 4, Sony, Aardman, Working Title Films and The National Theatre. He has written everything from a Christina Ricci movie to the first online play for the RSC and Google.

As part of his residency at Buxton Museum and Art Gallery, Rob is giving a one-hour crash course in how to write a movie, in an intimate cafe setting. It’s Film School in an hour! For free! A warm, witty and welcoming workshop in the craft of storytelling. Non-writers welcome. Free, but booking is essential as it is likely to sell-out.

Part of the half.fish festival. Supported by Arts Council England.
